Finding a Dentist in North Shore

Schedule a Dental Consultation

Finding a dentist you can count on, trust, and enjoy is no easy feat. As a longtime family-owned practice who serves the North Shore area, we know your struggles because they are our own. Even our very own dentists need dentists.

The great news about North Shore is that there are many wonderful dentists to choose from. Dentists who are native to the area, and dentists who have come to call it home for good are here in your community. Wilmette Dental (that’s us!) is one of your neighbors and we service Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, Glenview, North Field, Evanston, Kenilworth and the rest of the surrounding North Shore areas.

We provide many dental services including:

  • Routine Teeth Cleanings
  • Crowns
  • Mouthguards
  • Teeth Whitening
  • Veneers
  • Clear Aligners or Metal Braces
  • Root Canals
  • Dentures
  • Bridges
  • Dental Implants
  • Pediatric Dentistry
  • That’ll do for now 🙂

If you have questions or needs, you’re always welcome to call us at 847-251-0085. No matter how big, or small the request, we are here to service you.

So What Makes a Good Dentist Anyway?

Good dentists separate themselves from subpar dentists in very noticeable ways. Some of these considerations may be the cleanliness of the office, the friendliness of the front desk and the hygienists as well as the dentists themselves. Other factors include the more specific moments when the dentist is peering into your mouth to assess your concerns or perform routine screenings.

Here are some simple signs you’re dealing with a not-so-good dentist could include:

  • You feel rushed. As a patient, you should never feel rushed. You are our #1 priority at Wilmette Dental and that is not lip service. Whether we’re on the phone with you or you’re in the dentist’s chair, you will never feel rushed here.

  • The Practice Doesn’t Look Clean. Sterility is paramount in dentistry so if you’re looking around and you notice things aren’t tidy, organized, and smell pretty clean, you may be in for an adventure of the not-so-fun kind.

  • The Dentist Seems Disconnected. Dentists are in the line of work of people. If your dentist seems distant, or not connected when he/she is visiting with you, maybe just politely excuse yourself before the real work begins! Your dentist should be extremely personable, easy to talk with, and genuinely engaged in the conversation about your needs and concerns. After all, they’re there for YOU!

Thorough consultations and peace of mind are things you can expect as standard around here at Wilmette Dental. With Marquette graduates Dr. Robert Madrigal and Dr. Tom Moscinski who grew up in Glenview and neighboring Lake Forest, our doctors have a passion for the people in the community. It’s because we care deeply, right down to the root.
