I am a lifelong resident of Wilmette. I graduated from St. Joseph Grammar School and Regina Dominican High School. I graduated from Northwestern Michigan College. I have been working in the dental world since 1987, primarily in oral surgery. I took a seven-year break to work with special needs children at Wilmette Jr. High School. My husband and I raised our three children in Wilmette. I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with my growing family and three dogs. Fun fact: I’m not only an employee of Wilmette Dental but a long-time patient. Been coming to Wilmette Dental since the 1970s.

After receiving my bachelor of science in dental hygiene from Northwestern University, I have been practicing for over thirty years. When I am not working, I may be power walking, playing canasta, playing mahjong, or volunteering my time with the Tuberous Sclerosis organization. I have a wonderful family: a great husband and two grown kids. We are planning a wedding for my daughter for next spring. My son will be graduating from law school this year. We also do a lot of dog sitting for my daughter’s dog. We are a family of dog lovers. Most of all, at work, I truly enjoy seeing all the different patients throughout the day and having that one-on-one personal connection.

I received my associate’s degree in dental hygiene at Fox College and continued my education with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Northeastern Illinois University. As a child who spent a lot of time in a dental office, I developed a curiosity for the field and gained a passion to help others prevent poor oral hygiene. From a personal standpoint, patient comfort is very important and can make a huge impact on someone’s health. As a Dental Hygienist, my main goal is to educate others and to continue educating myself. In my spare time, I enjoy quality time with family and friends, exercising, and exploring new places.
